a wedding at Courtyard at Lake Lucerne - Sept 21

It's always a fabulous event at Lake Lucerne. The I.W. Phillips House and courtyard make a lovely setting for weddings.

This wedding was splendid. The couple wrote their own vows, and for their ring vows, had written a haiku, a Japanese form of poetry.  They also selected to do an extended ring ceremony, a special ceremony which I wrote originally for a couple -- who I remember now, also had their wedding at the I.W. Phillips House. The couple also requested a Scottish horseshoe story and horseshoe presentation. Uniquely tailored to fit the couple, this was an event all in attendance will remember with warm memories.

a wedding at Kissimmee Bay Country Club - September 20

A simple, very loving, and highly supported wedding of two young people who are very much in love. Although outdoors at 3pm, clouds moved in to shade us from too much sun and brought the temperature down some. With a lake a few feet behind us, we also had a gentle breeze.

The couple's attendants were very supportive, responding to all 'in the moment' requests to cover last moment items and activities.

a wedding at Orange County Regional History Center - September 13

A lovely, intimate and unique wedding in one of the exhibits at the Orange County Regional History Center. Although it was late afternoon with a strong sun outside, the exhibit transformed our environment into an outdoor, nighttime wedding under a huge tree with a garland of lights illuminating our space.

The bride and groom were a delight - confident in what they wanted to create, and they had gathered their closest family and friends for the event. The staff at the History Center is always helpful and pro-active in assisting with creating a wonderful wedding.  I'm hoping to get a photo or two from the wedding, and will post it when that happens.
